Westminster Home Connection Searches for New Executive Director
Among the impending transitions at WPC is Westminster Home Connection’s search for a new Executive Director. After more than a decade of dedicated leadership, Keith Branson will be stepping down and moving into a new community engagement role with Home Connection.
In this role, Keith will focus on encouraging churches and other groups to join us in caring for their neighbors through home repairs and accessibility modifications, while strengthening our connections with volunteers and community partners.
Westminster Home Connection is now searching for our next Executive Director. We are financially healthy and well-respected, with an experienced team, strong community partnerships and a solid foundation for the future. Since 2013, we have helped more than 4,500 people in nearly 3,000 homes remain safer and more independent in the places they call home.
We are looking for a strategic, relationship-driven leader to guide us through our next chapter of growth while continuing to strengthen the operations, financial sustainability and partnerships that make our work possible.
Nonprofit Leadership LLC is facilitating the search. Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to elle@nonprofit-leadership.com by October 28, 2026.
The cover letter should address this question: Tell us about a time you spent meaningful time alongside frontline staff or in the field. What did you learn that changed how you led?
Please reference “Executive Director/Westminster Home Connection” in the email subject line.
Help us spread the word! If someone comes to mind who might be a great fit, please share this opportunity with them.
The Pastor Nominating Committee has been spending these early weeks getting to know one another and prayerfully preparing for the work ahead. The 11 appointed church members are developing an engaging communication plan with the congregation, committees and staff.
They will soon meet with the Visioning and Transition Teams to learn from the thoughtful work they have done in preparing the Mission Study, which draws upon the surveys completed during this summer’s congregational meetings. That work will launch the next phase of the PNC’s process and provide the foundation for Westminster’s Ministry Profile that will tell the story of who we are and guide us as we seek the next senior pastor God is calling to Westminster.
Last Sunday, a full Fellowship Hall joined Dr. Bill Wilson from the Center for Healthy Churches in an engaging discussion about the qualities we hope to see in our next Senior Pastor & Head of Staff.
The meeting was both interactive and informative, providing valuable insight on the steps involved in our leadership transition.
If you missed it, there is still plenty of time for your voice to be heard. Watch the meeting below, then share your comments and questions with the Pastor Nominating Committee.
- Eleven Westminster members are slated to serve our church in the immeasurably important mission of finding our next pastor. The Pastoral Nominations Committee (the “PNC”) will be tasked with an exhaustive search to fill Donovan’s shoes with someone who embodies WPC’s vision and core values.
